Presented by the UCSF School of Nursing, UCSF Office of Diversity and Outreach, the We Belong Initiative and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, attend a free screening of SHIFT Films’ "Everybody's Work: Healing What Hurts Us All," a film that examines the hidden disease plaguing health care in the United States: systemic racism.
Following the screening, join a panel discussion and Q&A with experts featured in the film: Aron King, Monica McLemore and Anna Maria Valdez.
Location: The screening will be hosted simultaneously at the following locations:
- Robertson Auditorium, Mission Bay Conference Center — featuring an in-person panel discussion
- OPC Auditorium, Oakland Pediatric Outpatient Center - 744 52nd St. Oakland — we are working to offer a livestreamed panel discussion at this venue

This special film screening is part of the 2024 Annual UCSF Health Equity and Anti-Racism Research (HEAR) Symposium which showcases research and action to advance health equity and anti-racism. The HEAR Symposium will be held in person, Oct. 9, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Mission Bay Conference Center.
