Every Expression Dance is a guided, free-form movement experience supported by rhythm, music, and live sound healing. This is not a dance class and there is no choreography to follow. The morning offers a supportive space to move, rest, or be still, guided by music, live drumming, and sound.

What to expect
The session is held as a gentle flow rather than a rigid structure and will include:
• A short opening circle to explain the session and help everyone arrive comfortably
• Kriya drumming to bring rhythm and energy into the body
• Guided free-form dance with music and live drumming
• Live sound healing, offering time to lie down, rest, and integrate the experience You are welcome to move in your own way, take breaks, sit, or be still at any point.

About the facilitators
Cloe Jackson is a Creative Counsellor (BACP), yoga teacher, and experienced dance facilitator. Her work brings together somatic movement, therapeutic awareness, and creative expression, with an emphasis on safety, choice, and listening to the body rather than performance.
Michelle Crozier is a multi-instrumentalist and sound healer with a background in opera and musical theatre. She will weave live sound throughout the morning, culminating in a layered sound journey using voice, singing bowls, kalimba, drumming, and mantra.

This space is open to every expression of human.

People attend for many reasons, including creativity, connection, embodiment, or simply to spend time in their body rather than their head.

Access information
The Jing Institute is located above street-level shops and is accessed via a set of fairly steep stairs with a handrail. Unfortunately, the venue is not wheelchair accessible. Ear defenders are welcome, and quieter space options are available within the venue. If you have access, sensory, or other needs and would like to discuss whether this event will work for you, please feel free to get in touch in advance.
