Every Brilliant Thing | A Funny & Heartfelt Story About What Makes Life Worth Living

Every Brilliant Thing is a funny, heartfelt, and deeply human story about finding hope in the midst of life’s hardest moments.
The play follows a man reflecting on a list he began when he was seven years old: a list of every brilliant thing. Everything worth living for. What began as a simple attempt to help his mother through depression slowly grows over the years into something much bigger.
Along the way, the list fills with small joys, ordinary moments, and the simple things that remind us why life is worth living. Through humor, honesty, and a little help from the audience, the story unfolds into a touching and often hilarious exploration of gratitude, resilience, and human connection.
Both funny and deeply moving, Every Brilliant Thing has become an international sensation, celebrated for its compassion, its honesty about mental health, and its ability to spark meaningful conversations about hope and the beauty of everyday life.
