Project background:
The City of Everett and the Everett AquaSox have teamed up to study options for building a new outdoor multipurpose facility. Due to new requirements from Major League Baseball, the AquaSox need a new facility; otherwise, Everett will lose the team and the millions of dollars of economic impact it generates each year.
After considering many possibilities, two were studied in more depth: rebuilding at the current location or building a new facility at a downtown site.
