We invite you to a 4-day celebration welcoming the summer, together with the queen of Polish rivers – the Vistula – and the queen of the seas and oceans – Iemanjá. This time, our special guests will be Mestre Boca do Rio and his long-time student, CM Jorge, from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.Beyond capoeira practice, we will also try to explore questions such as: How did the Mermaid become the protector of Warsaw? Why do we celebrate the summer solstice? Can rivers, mountains, and lakes have legal personality?
