About this Event
Event Horizon, The Megagame is a day-long event where dozens of players come together to all play the same story in the same game. It is a unique blend of role-playing, board gaming, negotiating, and existential horror. After being missing for 7 years, the Event Horizon ship has reappeared on the edge of the solar system. You will play as crewmembers of a UN-led fleet sent on a search and salvage mission of this state-of-the-art spaceship. Along the way there will be dark mysteries, clashing agendas, and critical choices. Will you be a hero or a maverick?

This is a megagame of sci-fi horror. This means that the game will push themes of paranoia and fear of the unknown. There are no (intentional) jump scares, but there will be times where you might feel uncomfortable and have doubts about what exactly is going on. The megagame experience in general might feel stressful for some. That’s all part of it. If you feel overwhelmed, please take a moment or talk to a moderator.
