National Miscarriage Awareness Day is a remembrance day for anyone impacted by the loss of a baby through miscarriage/early pregnancy loss. An event to commemorate National Miscarriage Awareness Day is being held on Sunday 5 May 2024 at Bunurong Memorial Park in Dandenong South at 11:00 am.
This free event will provide an opportunity for bereaved parents and families to remember their baby. Support information will be provided, and afternoon tea will be available after the event. Doors open at 10:45 am.
This event has been organised by Miscarriage Information Support Services, an inclusive community service providing information and resources to support anyone who has been impacted by the loss of a baby through miscarriage. This event is being supported by Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust. The event should conclude at approximately 12:30 pm. All are welcome.
