Two women were united by their love for folk motif, Moravian beauty, and design. One of the results of their several years of partnership is this unique exhibition Contemporary Takes on Folk Motifs, which through festival costume “kroj”, its fragments, embroidery, painted motifs, and traditional music presents the greatest treasures of Moravian cultural heritage in combination with the works of contemporary designers – and leaves the folk motif to resonate. Because only through current design and art can the cultural legacy of the past be connected to the present.
