About this Event
Join She Summits for an evening nature walk in Stanley Park and myofascial release class at The Well by Kunye.
We'll meet outside The Well at 7:00 pm and go on a 45 minutes nature walk in the forested Stanley Park trails. You'll have time to connect with other women and move your body. We'll stop along the way for mindful moments and connection with nature through forest sensory exercises.
We'll return to The Well for a 60 minutes Roll & Release class led by founder Melissa Nkomo. Move beyond muscle, and release your fascia, tendons, and ligaments. This class invites you to slowly hydrate your connective tissue and increase your capacity for change. Using myofascial release (MFR) techniques, this class will help reduce pain and inflammation and increase flexibility and performance.
We'll close with 15 minutes to mingle and enjoy tea. You'll go home with a complimentary skincare product from East 29th ($90 value) and $50 gift card to for you or a friend to use towards a She Summits All-Access Annual Pass.

Their certified guides are educated across various modalities and our class schedule offers a dynamic range of intensities ranging from still, to slow, to sweaty.
About Melissa Nkomo
As a certified mindfulness and somatic practitioner, Melissa Nkomo has witnessed and experienced the profound power of slowing down. From her own practice, she's recognized that this work is a pathway to deep healing.
Kunye is the culmination of all that Melissa continues to learn and a tribute to her very first teacher, her mother. The word Kunye, meaning oneness, originates from her mother's native tongue, Zulu.
At its core, Kunye is the exploration and acknowledgment of the whole Self. Since its inception, Kunye has been a cathartic space for personal growth.
Well-being is not one size fits all. All that they offer is simply a suggestion with lots of space for you to make it your own. Kunye and their approach are for every body.
