So, how do animals survive in a desert with less than 2mm annual rainfall per year?
Gianpiero Ferrari returns to tell us of his time in the world’s oldest desert, the Namib. It’s characterized by towering red sand dunes and a unique ecosystem that support a variety of desert adapted animals. These including gemsbok, ostriches, springbok and desert elephants, small creatures like beetles and geckos, plus marine life like seals and penguins along the coast.
