Join us for an evening reception at Centrala in Birmingham on the night before the EU Gathering, from 6:30- 11pm
This informal and welcoming event offers an opportunity to connect, network, and meet fellow participants in a relaxed setting ahead of the main gathering.
Participants will have the opportunity to experience an exhibition of video works reflecting on precarious and irregular labour, as well as the lived experiences and situations of migrants across Europe. The exhibition provides a thoughtful and timely context for the evening, inviting engagement with complex social realities through artistic practice. The reception will also include live performances, with further details to be announced.
A bar will be open throughout the evening, and light refreshments will be provided.
Centrala is located in Digbeth, Birmingham’s creative district. Centrala’s space is an art gallery and events venue, as and organisation Centrala works at the intersection of art, migrant support, research, and policy, creating projects that connect artistic practice with social impact and advocacy.
This is a free event, open to all those attending the EU Gathering and friends.
