Come out for a paddle at Shem Creek. We will meet at the boat landing @ Simmons and Mill Street and head off promptly at 6pm toward the harbor.PLEASE arrive early to allow yourself time to find parking and inflate your board, if necessary. Time will be limited as sunset is approximately 7:55, and we will need to be off the water before it gets dark.
Rental facilities (Coastal Expeditions & Nature Adventures) are nearby for those without equipment. These Rental companies have asked me to pass on the word to not park in their parking lot unless you are renting from them.
Don’t forget to bring your floatation device (required by law), sunscreen and water. Kayaks and all paddling vessels are welcome. Hope to see you on the water!
