Theatre 282 welcomes you to an ever popular evening of 3 one act plays! Offering you great variety of comedy and drama, you will be laughing, captivated and loving all these 3 plays have to offer.
First, we are very proud to present a heartfelt play, 'Until the final bell rings' not only presented by our award winning Theatre 282 Youth members but also written by one of them too!
This contemporary play is about a group of students trapped in after-school detention and forced to work together through a series of challenges to escape. As tensions rise, hidden struggles are revealed and unlikely connections form, showing how empathy and understanding can change people before the final bell rings.

Next we are excited to perform 'The Last Group'.
"Huge mental asylum... top of the hill." A stranger, a missing therapist, an SOS. The kettle is boiled and the chairs are set; an art therapy session is about to begin. Join "The Last Group" as they navigate the woes of mental health and confront a troublesome past - where not every patient of the hospital left with a happy ending. Are the terrors that go bang in the night real, or merely our subconscious at war for its own sanity?

Finally, we present 'Charlie to the checkout please'. Riley is nervous. It’s her first day at her new job on the checkout and what could go wrong. There are product returns, customer complaints, queue-jumpers, and worse! Charlie will help, but they’re nowhere to be found and aren’t answering the PA system. So, Riley must cope on their own with the chaos unfolding at the till.

Please note that there may be a mix of tables with chairs and rows of chairs. These are unallocated and availability is on a first come, first served basis for each performance, so be sure to arrive early to get your choice of seating. The actual layout on a night is determined by how many pre-booked tickets are sold.
