A program of accomplished musicians who will performworks by Beethoven, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and other celebrated composers. Award-winning pianist Eleena Gelfgatt will first perform a solo program, and then will be joined by violinist Diane Hastings and cellist Dorothy Braker to present chamber works by Mendelssohn. Come enjoy an evening of virtuosity, intimacy, and musical storytelling!

Eleena Gelfgatt, classical pianist, earned a master’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the National Music Academy in Kiev, Ukraine. She has performed widely throughout Europe as both a soloist and chamber musician. She has received Ukraine’s National Stravinsky Award in Piano Performance, and, in 2018, made her solo debut at Carnegie Hall. Recent engagements include performances at the Assisi Festival of Music in Italy, the Shalin Liu Performance Center, Endicott College, and venues across the North Shore.
Diane Hastings, violinist, is an experienced music educator, arts administrator, and performer with more than two decades in both academic and professional settings. She has toured nationally with artists such as Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, and Il Divo, and performs locally with the Plymouth Philharmonic, North Shore Philharmonic, and the Orchestra on the Hill. She holds a master of music and teaches at Salem State University and St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers.
Dorothy Braker, cellist, performs on a French cello crafted in 1727 by Jacques Bouquay—a treasured instrument whose history, she often notes, she wishes she could hear firsthand. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School and has built a distinguished career as both a chamber musician and soloist throughout New England.
