About the Yoga Practice
Kemetic Yoga is a perfect way to slow down your week and calm your energies. Smai Tawi (yoga practice) is rooted in the wisdom of ancient Egypt that follows the breath through a journey of release to connect deeper with the higher self.
Tjef Sema Paut Neteru (meaning Movements in Unified Company with the Gods & Goddesses) is a modern rendition of an ancient Egyptian system of physical postures for health, meditation, and spiritual enlightenment developed by Dr. Muata & Karen Ashby. Yoga Skills Kemetic Yoga invites movement with intention and reverence, reconnecting with ancestral knowledge and remembering our divine essence, developed by Yirser Ra Hotep.
Both directives offer a meditative practice that promotes alignment and healing, providing a physical, emotional, and mental space for rest and renewal. By focusing on the breath to HEAL, we practice this technique of LOVE, maintaining a calm response to life’s challenges, expanding on our abilities to overcome these challenges, and ELEVATE our connection to source and one another.

About your Instructors
Qiana Roberts specializes in gentle, breath-centered practices that honor restoration and release. She trained and received Kemetic Yoga certification under Master Yirser Ra Hotep. Her goal is to help you find accessible, nourishing ways to care for your body and spirit—on the mat and beyond. With a foundation in Hatha and Kemetic Yoga, she invites you to slow down, reconnect, and move with intention. Her classes hold space for stillness, reflection, and liberation—using the postures and breathwork not just to stretch the body, but to restore the spirit through a moving meditation. It is a return home, a way to honor our collective ancestry, and to embody balance, strength, and inner peace.
