Join us on Thursday September 12th to kick off the academic year with our annual Evening for Educators event! This year we are honoring the collaborative spirit between the visual and performing arts. We look forward to celebrating with you and toasting our educators under the incredible artwork by the late Frank Stella in the historic Moores Opera House Lobby.
This professional development event and reception are co-hosted by Public Art of the University of Houston System, Blaffer Art Museum, and Katherine G. McGovern College of the Arts.

Blaffer Art Museum
Founded in 1973, the Blaffer Art Museum endeavors to further the understanding of contemporary art through exhibitions, publications, and public programs. As the gateway between the University of Houston’s Central campus and the City of Houston, Blaffer Art Museum is a catalyst for creative innovation, experimentation, and scholarship.
