Evening Crafty Collage Social Events: BYOB, snacks included!, Create Place, London, 25 January to 8 March

Collage & Social Workshop - Create your own unique Artwork /Jewellery. This is a low cost, friendly, unique crafty Workshop.
About this Event

Explore your creativity and make a unique collage which you can keep as a collage artwork or turn into a piece of jewellery (broach, earrings, necklace) I will provide you with a wonderful selection of images; contemporary, recycled and vintage and books of inspiring vintage and contemporary images and stickers plus a selection of interesting costume jewellery items to embellish your creation. I will also provide the jewellery findings & attachments.

Come with yourself or with a friend and to make friends! This is intended as a friendly, social workshop and you are invited to BYOB if you fancy it! Teas, Coffee and snacks also provided.

Think about bringing personal or favourite images to include in your creation, or any unused jewellery items you would like to upcycle is also a great idea. Bring any mixed-media item you would like to add to the mix!
You are also very welcome to bring your own project either to finish or start! Anything you like..we have glue guns, space, people to bounce ideas off and an opportunity to finish that project in a great space!

You'll be shown how to:

make a selection from the images supplied & construct a collage so it becomes a cohesive piece
decide if you would like to make your collage into 'wearable art' for gifts or for yourself

What's included?

2 hours of guidance with finding and sourcing images, cutting, assembling and creating your artwork
A rich assortment of 2D materials and costume jewels to add to your creation
Tea, coffee, snacks and the opportunity to BYOB if you should like to
Jewellery findings if you should want to make your collage into a broach, earrings, etc
All glues/attachments appropriate to your project

The workshop will take place at The Create Place in Bethnal Green, a lovely airy room specially fitted for Workshops; 2 mins from Bethnal Green tube and buses and next to Saint Margarets House. Lots of restaurants and pubs in walking distance too.
