The Evansville NAACP 2026 MLK Community Breakfast brings our community together for a meaningful morning of reflection, unity, and purpose as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.This year’s theme, “The Fierce Urgency of Now,” calls us to move beyond remembrance and toward action—reminding us that the work of justice, equity, and love requires our commitment today, not someday.
Serving as the kickoff to Black History Month, this annual breakfast creates space for shared reflection, inspiration, and a renewed dedication to progress within our community. Join neighbors, leaders, and advocates as we gather to be encouraged, challenged, and energized for the work ahead.
