About this Event

Are you wondering how to evaluate the impact of your project or programme?

Perhaps you want to know whether you're achieving your outcomes so that you can secure future funding, or improve your service?

Community groups and charities are invited to book in for a one-hour Evaluation Surgery, where you can have a chat and troubleshoot your evaluation-related questions with researchers from the School of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow.

The Hub is a friendly space and everyone is welcome.

Address: Clarice Pears Building, 90 Byres Road, Glasgow, G12 8TB. Reception can direct you to the room on arrival. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]

It would help to have a bit of information in advance so please complete the questions on the order form and leave any blank you can't answer at this time.

Here is an example of the kinds of questions we might be able to help with:

• My project is really complex - where should I start when thinking about evaluation?

• In starting off a project, what steps should I use to get the design and evaluation parts in the right order?

• What sort of data can I collect that would be useful for an evaluation of my project?

• If I don’t have large enough numbers for doing meaningful statistics, what other sorts of data/analysis can I do?

• I’ve heard that developing Theory of Change can be useful in evaluation. How do I start thinking through this?

• At what stages of the evaluation process should I consider applying for funding? • Where do I get help for parts I don’t have expertise on in my team?
