The Croatian Bureau of Statistics and Eurostat are jointly organising the 12th European Conference on Quality in Official Statistics (#Q2026) on the theme "Official Statistics: Enhancing Trust, Shaping the Future"on 3-5 June 2026.Q2026 brings together statisticians, researchers, experts and professionals from various fields to explore the latest trends and discuss key challenges that official statistics face today.
The conference programme will focus on exploring institutional frameworks that support effective quality management in official statistics. One particularly interesting and current topic will address new trends and challenges in maintaining quality in the context of increased use of artificial intelligence and its potential impact on the quality of official statistics. Special attention will be given to the role of quality as a foundation for building and maintaining users’ trust.
In line with the established practice of previous quality conferences, Q2026 will offer a series of engaging training sessions on 2 June.
The conference is open to the public, with mandatory registration.
