The East Tennessee State University Chorale will perform at the Tennessee Music Educators Association All-State Conference in Nashville this April. They will present a preview send off concert in Johnson City on March 29, 3:00 p.m. at Munsey United Methodist church. The Chorale has been the signature choral ensemble of the university for more than eighty years. Students from majors across campus are selected through a rigorous audition process and come together to build a community of friendship and outstanding choral artistry. They perform frequently, and are the centerpiece of the annual ETSU Holiday Concert, which attracts over 3500 audience members each year. The Chorale travels throughout the United States and internationally. They perform a wide range of repertoire, including genres from classical to pop to bluegrass, and compositions that span from the Middle Ages to the present. The ETSU Chorale has been under the direction of Dr. Alan Stevens since 2022. The concert is FREE and open to the public.
