Social Work Ethics Training

Social Work Ethics Training will provide knowledge and everyday examples of ethical decision making based on the NASW Code of Ethics. The primary mission of the social work profession is to enhance human wellbeing and help to meet the basic human needs of all people, with particular attention to the needs and empowerment of people who are vulnerable, oppressed, and living in poverty. Fundamental to social work is attention to the environmental forces that create, contribute to, and address problems in living.

This training will be presented by Barbara Zawier, MSW, LCSW.

Vice President of Illume and Strategic Partnerships, Barbara Zawier, MSW, LCSW, oversees community relations and Illume: The Behavioral Health Center of Excellence, which is the training, research, evaluation, mentorship/coaching, and consultation arm of Places for People. Barb joined Community Alternatives in 1996. She has gained a wealth of direct experience initiating and/or supervising numerous evidence-based practices, and has worked with diverse populations over the years.
