About this Event

This workshop explores the ethics, sustainability and moral implications of Generative AI technology, and invites participants to consider the contexts in which the technology should be used as a result. Participants will explore the construction and operation of AI technology from an ethical perspective, examine the energy usage of Generative AI technology, and consider the data handling and privacy implications of the software, before applying that knowledge in context to determine when Generative AI should, or perhaps should not, be used.

This workshop is hosted by the Centre for Innovation in Education and is open to University of Liverpool staff only. This workshop may be recorded, you can opt-out at any time by contacting [email protected].
