About this Event

Sound Bath Meditation is an immersive meditative experience where participants are bathed in sound waves from various instruments and sound healing tools. The vibrations facilitate shifts in brain states from a more active state to a relaxed or even dreamlike state through a process called brain entrainment. The parasympathetic nervous system is signaled, allowing the body to rest. The experience evokes a sense of deep listening, while allowing release and restoration to occur, leaving a sense of calm and invigoration. Modern science is now confirming the transformational effects of this ancient practice and it's ability to rekindle harmony to mind, body and spirit. This is an experience to be FELT in real life.

MEET YOUR GUIDE:

Lyn Sakari is a certified meditation teacher, with formal training in sound bath facilitation from The Sound Bath Center in LA (recognized by the International Sound Therapy Association), weaving together these modalities into a tapestry of ceremony. She curates sound scapes to bring a sense of restoration and wellbeing. Included in her sound scape journey are Crystal Tones alchemy singing bowls which are infused with gemstones and precious metals, thoughtfully selected because of their integrity and resonance. Lyn's set is one of a kind and appropriately named 'Unity Consciousness'. She is a Guide at Kolm Kontrast as well as The Mindful Lab and is passionate about creating space where community can come together to receive the practice of Sound.
