What to Bring: This beathwork journey is best experienced lying down on your back. Wear comfortable clothes and bring whatever you need to be relaxed - yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water, eye mask, etc. It's suggested to not eat for at least a few hours before breathwork. Please bring a journal to write down any insights you may have afterwards.

It involves rapid and prolonged breathing that is designed to activate intense emotional responses. I have notified the practitioners of any physical injuries, mental or psychological conditions I have. Contraindications: Breathwork is intended as a personal growth experience and enhance well being and should not be looked upon as a substitute for psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for persons with the following:

1. Cardiovascular disease/heart conditions

2. Detached retina or glaucoma

3. Diagnosed brain or abdomen aneurysm

4. Epilepsy

5. Diagnosed bipolar or schizophrenia

6. Uncontrolled diabetes or thyroid conditions

7. High blood pressure

8. Delicate Pregnancy

9. Recent surgery or injury

If you have any doubt about whether you should participate, please consult with your physician(s). Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their physician(s).

I understand that there is no assurance that I will feel better and that emotions may be evoked that will be upsetting in nature.
