If you’re planning to visit Cadiz, you should know that it’s a three-thousand-year-old city and one of the oldest in the Western world.
Throughout its history, many civilizations have lived in the "Tacita de Plata": Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, and Greeks. Ships to and from the Americas used to set sail from here, and its port holds the history of great naval battles. It’s also the birthplace of the Spanish Constitution known as “La Pepa".

Our Free Tour of Cádiz includes the City Hall, the most famous neighborhood in Cádiz, El Populo, the Admiral’s House, and the stories behind the Old and New Cathedrals. We’ll also visit Plaza de España, Plaza de las Flores, and many other curiosities.
Important Information
- Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes in advance. The guide cannot wait out of respect for the rest of the group.
- Parking: Due to the difficulty of finding parking in the historic center of Cádiz, here are some nearby parking options that may be useful: 1. Parking Canalejas-San Juan. 2. Parking Saba Estación Tren Cádiz. 3. Parking Muelle Pesquero.
- Please show your booking (printed or on your phone) to the Paseando por Europa guide at the meeting point.
- Groups of more than 6 adults, even if they have made separate bookings under different names, must pay €10 per adult. Otherwise, they will not be accepted on the tour and the guide may ask them to leave.
- A minimum of 5 people is required per tour. If the minimum is not met, we will notify you to modify your booking.
- There are many tour companies in the square, so please ask for your Paseando por Europa guide.
