About this Event
T his session can be attended as a stand alone or alongside the 9 other sessions that will make up this Paediatric Palliative Care Course.
T his session will be delivered by clinicians from Martin House in the Hospicevia Microsoft Teams
A ttendees will be encouraged to participate in discussions, reflections and activities to create opportunities for the development of further learning and networking.
T his session will focus on communication and feature presentations and discussions where we will discuss processes and challenging cases to improve competence and confidence in managing these essential conversations with particular focus on parallel planning and Advance Care Planning using the CYPACP.
A minimum of 4 attendees is required for this event to take place.
O pen to all health and social care professionals with an interest in palliative care.
Terms and conditions
1. Bookings
We accept all course bookings via our online booking system or via email for invoices. The Customer shall pay any invoice submitted by Martin House within 30 calendar days of the date of the invoice, and in any event prior to the Training taking place, to a bank account provided on the invoice by Martin House, or in the case of online bookings, shall make payment as required by the Online Booking Process. A 10% uplift will be applied to any invoice not paid within the required timeframe.
2. Insufficient Bookings
If there are insufficient bookings for a course, Martin House Children’s Hospice have the right to cancel the course. Where possible this decision will be made no later than 1 week before and all candidates will be informed, and any fees fully refunded.
3. Cancellations and refunds
In order to receive a full refund, cancellations must be made with 14 days before the course date. These refunds will incur a 10% administration fee. After this date no refund will be offered. Fees are non-refundable for non-attendance at a course.
4. Transfers
Transfer of bookings to a new date after the 14-day cut off will incur a 10% payment cost to cover administrative costs.
5. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in or arising out of or in connection with the Training, including any associated Training Materials shall be owned by Martin House. No reproductions, recordings, scans or copies (wholly or in part) shall be made of the Training Material without the prior written consent of Martin House
