Maria and Victor Beyens have performed individually and together internationally, from the Cleveland Orchestra, to Opus 216, to Carl Baldassarre's Rock Orchestra, and more.
Victor is a French-born violinist who moved to Cleveland to study at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he studied under former Cleveland Orchestra concertmaster William Preucil. Beyens is a very active musician in the Cleveland area, acting as concertmaster of the Mansfield Symphony, assistant concertmaster of the Firelands Symphony, and leading the ensemble OPUS 216.
Maria Beyens, from Seoul, South Korea, holds Bachelor’s degree in violin performance from Cleveland Institute of Music. After pursuing her Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Maria Beyens moved back to Cleveland. Maria plays with Firelands Symphony, Erie Philharmonic, Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Mansfield Symphony, Stars in the Classics and many other groups and organizations around the Cleveland area. In addition to music, she is also a professional chef and has worked with a James Beard awarded Chef. Maria also enjoys playing piano and dancing.
Their program will include a mix of classical, jazz, Celtic, and pop music.
