About this Event
This February, ESH is all about LOVE! 💖 and RENEWAL. 🪩 Your Boogie Operators are fusing the fiery passion of 💖Valentine’s Day with the botanical energy of Tu B'Shvat ✨🌳 for an unforgettable dance floor experience like NEVER before… a dance party that blends ancient rituals with the latest global beats! 🌐
We’ll open with a “Tisch,” a sacred song circle with light food (6:30-7:45PM), welcome in the new week with Havdalah (an end of Shabbat fire ceremony) at 7:45, and then dance the night away (8-11PM). Dress festively – think glitter, flowers, and light-catching attire! 💃✨Festive themed attire encouraged!
🎶💫 Get ready for a night of connection, celebration, and soul-stirring beats! 🎉
Your facilitators:
Bambi is a DJ, educator, and historian of Kabbalah. As a DJ, he plays deep, delicate, sensual global bass music, woven into a soundscape that welcomes bodies into their dance and devotion. At the best of times, Bambi’s sets become sites where sacredness and silliness crash into each other, and the difference between play and prayer dissolves.
fCD is a sonic explorer blending world rhythms with electronic textures to create hypnotic grooves. Known for Deep-Cut Disco, Mizrahi Electronica, and Global Groove, fCD became renowned in Brooklyn’s underground warehouse scene, sharing the stage with Modern English, Fujiya & Miyagi, and Mattie Saifer of The Rapture. Featured in Willamette Week’s Top 5 Buzz List, VICE, and The New Yorker, fCD’s music pushes boundaries and captivates listeners.
