Inaugural Escape to Tango Monterey Marathon takes place Aug 20-23 at The Hyatt Regency in Monterey Ca. There'll be 4 days of dancing along with plenty of other outside activities. We have partnered with local entities to offer discounted pricing for hiking, wine tasting and whale watching. The idea is that you come to the marathon and enjoy not only the dancing and connection but also take advantage of the proximity to the beach, Carmel, the aquarium and all of the locations and fun things to do that Monterey has to offer. I know it'll be difficult to choose whether you book a session at the spa, go for a walk on the beach or dance the day away with tango friends from San Francisco, San Jose and Sacramento and those of us who happen to live in Monterey and Santa Cruz. But we count on your resourcefulness! You can use the steam room, sauna, pool and gym if you're staying onsite. There are lots of other lodging options available. At this time we are only selling full passes at the Early Bird Price. If you look closely there's a significant discount for couples! Ladies grab a man and sign up.
