About this Event
This training is aimed at new volunteers for Emergency Control Centre (ECC) training, but current trained volunteers are also welcome if they feel they want to go through both theory & Resilience Direct. We will go through the theory of what a ECC is, activation and operating an ECC. The morning is then followed by Module 2 Resilience Direct (RD) Response training, which teaches you how to use Resilience Direct within an ECC during a single or multi-agency emergency.
Course Aim:
To provide the necessary skills and knowledge to operate effectively within a Local Authority Emergency Control Centre and to give you an understanding on how to use collaborate and mapping in Resilience Direct during an emergency response.

08:45 - Arrival
09:00 - Introduction
09:15 – Module 1 Theory of ECC (with comfort breaks)
12:15 - Break for lunch (food not provided)
13:00 – Module 2 Resilience Direct Response
15:30 – Finish
