Eric Wurzelbacher's style has been described as a "foot- tapping mix of hard- bop impro and rock" by the Jazz Journal UK. Wurzelbacher's group made their first national appearance at the Newport Jazz Festival in 2019. As a leader and composer, he has released six albums: Eco Quartet (2017), Power (2018), Maya (2019), Idle Minds (2021), Don't Climb the Towers (2024), and YOUNGBLOODS TRIO (2025)."Man Thinketh" is Wurzelbacher's newest unreleased/ unrecorded project, pulling heavy influences from Aaron Parks and Brian Blade Fellowship band. "Man Thinketh" is roughly based off of James Allen's empowering book. Let this mixture of jazz, folk, rock, and blues carry you to a spiritual realm while the band continues to work out the new themes in real time.
