ERIC STECKEL ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM “SANDSTORM” AND LAUNCH OF 2026 WORLD TOURWith high-octane guitar power, soulful vocals and a relentless blend of hard rock and blues rock, Eric Steckel is set to make a massive impact in 2026. In April, he will release his brand-new studio album “Sandstorm” via SPV Recordings / OPEN – marking the official launch of his 2026 World Tour, which kicks off in Europe.
Still only in his early 30s, Eric Steckel has already achieved cult status in the international guitar community. “Sandstorm” captures him at his most focused and explosive: heavy riffs, intense solos and contemporary songwriting fuse into a modern, powerful sound that speaks to both blues purists and hard rock fans. The album was produced by Dan Malsch, known for his work with bands such as Ghost, Gojira and Avenged Sevenfold, adding extra sonic weight and international punch to the record.
The first taste of the new album arrived on October 2nd, 2025, with the release of the lead single “When It Rains, It Pours”. The track offers a striking preview of “Sandstorm”: emotional vocals, dynamic arrangements and a guitar tone that is raw, modern and unmistakably Eric Steckel. The single is available digitally on all major streaming platforms.
With the album release in April 2026, the first leg of the Eric Steckel World Tour 2026 will begin in Europe, where he will present the new material live for the very first time.
