Eric Rushton is embarking on his biggest stand-up tour yet with Innkeeper, a brand-new show as hilarious as it is heartfelt. The tour is springboarding off the success of a knock-out 2025 Edinburgh Fringe run, which included a string of sold-out performances and was shortlisted for the (ISH) Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show. Innkeeper was beloved by audiences and critics alike, ranking as one of the Best Reviewed Comedy Shows of the Fringe (British Comedy Guide).
In 2004, Eric was cast in his primary school Nativity. Despite absolutely smashing it, he immediately retired from being a child actor. Now he’s found the correct antidepressants to give show-business another go.

Eric is an award-winning comedian, writer and actor. He was the recipient of the first ever Channel 4 Sean Lock Award in 2023 and won Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year in 2020. His recent TV credits include ITV2’s The Stand Up Sketch Show and BBC3’s Such Brave Girls. As well as performing, Eric is a talented writer and has written for The Last Leg, Late Night Lycett and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
