THE SHOW
This Juneteenth, bring your friends for a celebration of liberation,?hope, and community.
Acclaimed classical musician, Eric Genuis, joins us for three performances, each turning an eye on the forgotten and neglected—paired with uplifting original compositions which highlight our shared humanity.
Proceeds will benefit Larry's Corner in their mission to feed and nurture North City, as well as Concerts for Hope; Genuis' own charitable concert series.
THE ARTIST
Eric Genuis is an internationally acclaimed artist and composer, known for his emotionally powerful, genre-blending music. Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and the Berklee College of Music, Genuis has performed extensively across North America, Europe, and beyond, captivating audiences with concerts that fuse classical form with contemporary expression.
Beyond the concert hall, he is especially recognized for his “Concerts for Hope” initiative, bringing live music to prisons, hospitals, and marginalized communities, using art as a means of restoring dignity and inspiring the human spirit.

THE SPACE
The WEvent Space is a distinctive venue located in the heart of the Tower Grove South neighborhood, set within a beautifully restored church. Embracing the spirit of its historic roots, the space provides a laid-back, welcoming setting for a wide array of local live acts. Central to its mission is the WEConcert Series—an ongoing effort to reestablish the former church as a vibrant hub and gathering place for the community. Through music, art, and connection, WEvent Space invites all to be part of a shared creative experience in one of the neighborhood’s most unique venues.
