About this Event
EquityFest is Solano Community College’s annual campus conference dedicated to building shared understanding and action around equity at Solano CC. The event brings together students, faculty, staff, and administrators to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore practices that support student success.
This year’s theme, “Rooted in Equity, Rising in Action,” invites our community to reflect on the work we have built together over the past 7 years while imagining the next steps in advancing equity across our campus.
Through presentations, workshops, and conversations, EquityFest highlights innovative approaches to teaching, student services, and community partnerships that help create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.
EquityFest also provides students with the opportunity to experience an academic conference setting, participate in meaningful dialogue, and contribute their voices to conversations about education and equity.
Together, EquityFest strengthens our shared commitment to ensuring that every student at Solano has the opportunity to thrive.
