Speaker Biography:
Doneisha Posey has forged a successful career as a Business Leader, Civil Rights Attorney, and DEI Thought Leader with a passion for increasing representation, creating opportunity, and creating access for historically underrepresented communities. Doneisha has worked in corporate, higher education, and government sectors with one purpose - creating a more equitable and inclusive environment.
Along with her role as founder and CEO of Impacto Strategies, Doneisha is also the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Black Onyx Management, a business consulting firm.
Impacto Strategies often partners with Black Onyx Management on shared efforts. She holds a position at Indiana University McKinney School of Law as an adjunct professor teaching racial justice courses. She is the former chief diversity officer for Ivy Tech Community College, the nation’s largest singly-accredited community college. She was named Forty under 40, Indy’s Best and Brightest in Education/Nonprofit, and an IndyMaven To Know.
Doneisha has turned her passion into purpose as the Co-Founder of Women’s Equity Brunch and is frequently consulting on matters of pay equity for women of color, salary negotiations, the intersections of race and the law, and civil rights issues - past and present.
