Functional Movement & Strength Training class tailored to guide you through the proper form and technique for utilizing exercise equipment, help you execute fundamental exercises safely and effectively to minimize the risk of injury, and maximize your workout potential.
This outdoor gym class is meant to be informative in learning how functional movement and strength training translate into everyday movement and how everyday movement translates into your physical performance while putting it into practice.
Instead of speeding up our movement, we slow down our movement to focus on precision, breath control, time under tension, proper muscle engagement, and gradual volume progression.
This strength training class promotes everyday functional movement, corrects posture, and builds quality muscles on a flexible, mobile, sturdy, stable, and limber physical foundation.
By the end of each class, you will know how to tailor equipment and volume to suit your needs, goals, and capacity.
You will also feel confident navigating the gym, incorporating weight training into your fitness routine, and enhancing your performance in group fitness classes.
