Green Hours presents:EQUINOX QUINTET
EQ is a jazz fusion band, formed by five young musicians, students at the Conservatory, who explore the boundaries between tradition and innovation.
Their repertoire combines original compositions with creative reinterpretations of jazz standards, offering a fresh sound experience, but anchored in the roots of the genre.
Through the fusion of contemporary rhythms and traditional influences, the group aims to bring a new breath of life to the Romanian jazz scene.
Equinox Quintet won two awards at the "Johnny Răducanu" International Jazz Competition, as well as the grand prize at the Sibiu Jazz Festival.
