A Wheel of the Year Celebration
Join us on March 21st from 4:00-7:00
Join us for an evening of ceremony, music, and movement as we celebrate Ostara, the Spring Equinox and one of the sacred turning points on the Wheel of the Year.
The equinox marks the moment when day and night stand in perfect balance, signaling the return of light, fertility, and new life. Across many earth-honoring traditions, this seasonal gateway invites us to emerge from winter’s introspection and step back into vitality, creativity, and connection.
This gathering opens a ceremonial portal between Ostara and Beltane, the Celtic fire festival celebrated on May Day. While Ostara awakens the seeds of spring, Beltane celebrates their full blooming. Together they mark the sacred arc of spring’s unfolding—from the first stirrings beneath the soil to the flowering of life itself.
But here in Colorado, spring carries its own magic.
Rather than rushing winter away, we will honor the lingering spirit of snow. Through our Spring Snow Dance, we call upon Ullr, the Norse God of Snow, inviting the final blessings of winter to nourish the earth. Snow becomes sacred water—melting into the streams, rivers, and soil that will soon bring spring showers and May flowers.
This is a ceremony of transition:
awakening from hibernation,
honoring the waters,
and dancing life back into motion.
