About this Event
The EPOC programme consists of 9 weekly 2 hour sessions. Developed in collaboration between people with lived experience, addiction & mental health professionals, and world leading recovery advocates, EPOC provides a structured yet flexible, adaptive, strengths based solution for anyone seeking to recover from adversity, including addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges that are the symptoms of one of societies most rapidly growing problems - Disconnection.
Combining the power of connection, reciprocity and the importance of growth, we firmly believe the capacity to heal and succeed lies within all of us, despite our beliefs, our past, or perceptions. But we cannnot do it alone.
Our approach is one of compassion and understanding. Many of us have walked the path from adversity into a new way of thinking and more importantly, living. We have navigated the pitfalls and appreciate that although the journey ahead can be somewhat daunting, we know that sustanaible recovery, however that is determined by the individual, is achieveable.
We do not adopt a pathalogical approach, we do not inform you what is wrong with you, we do not judge or stigmatise, nor do we insist that you must follow a single path of recovery. Instead, we emplore the concept of safe exploration and curiosty. Afterall, for those who have expeirenced the kinds of adversity we work to overome, the journey should be interesting, insightful, adventurous, and most importantly, rewarding and fun.
