The Epney Trail Run is a small-scale, community trail race set in the village of Epney, Gloucestershire. Covering approximately 10 miles (16 km), the route starts and finishes near The Anchor Inn.The course follows a clearly marked circular route along the Gloucester–Sharpness Canal towpath and local public footpaths, including sections of the Severn Way. It is predominantly flat and off-road, making it perfect for first-time trail runners as well as those looking to run fast and chase a strong time.
The event will be fully marshalled, with one aid station approximately halfway, and supported by first aid provision to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Event Information and Eligibility
At least ÂŁ3 from every entry supports the Canal & River Trust and helps maintain access to the canal paths.
This event will be licensed by the Trail Running Association and will be run in accordance with UK Athletics rules.
The minimum age to enter the event is 17 years on the day of the race.
