Join us this month for an exciting hands-on activity presented by the Oak Spring Garden Foundation in partnership with the Loudoun County Public Library- Middleburg! Kids (ages 6-11) and teens (ages 12-18) will discover plants that grow without soil and high in the forest canopy. After learning what epiphytes are and why they matter, participants will create living art: a 2D staghorn fern tree model and a living orchid kokedama to take home.
Each month, OSGF partners with local libraries to offer a new, free, nature-inspired activity designed to spark curiosity and connection with the natural world. Don’t miss March’s event—and follow along to discover each month’s new theme!
Walk-ins are welcome. Visit your library’s website at the link provided for more details.
