You are invited to the Historical Movie Poster Exhibition: Heroes, A never before shown display of beautifully preserved and framed posters from some of the most iconic films ever made. Including Spartacus, El Cid, Gladiator, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Gone with the Wind and more. These are the stories that shaped generations, brought larger than life characters to the screen and defined what it meant to be heroic.Featuring stars such as Russell Crowe, Errol Flynn, Sophia Loren, Charlton Heston, Vivien Leigh and Kirk Douglas, and directors like Stanley Kubrick and William Wyler, this exhibition is a celebration of courage, romance, adventure and the artistry of classic filmmaking.
Curated by film archivist and collector Noel Cowan, his collection offers a rare chance to experience a piece of cinematic history up close.
For two days only, the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre will host a rare and remarkable exhibition that celebrates the legendary era of historical epics.
