When it comes to the success of research & innovation teams, communication is one of the key factors. The effective sharing and exploring of ideas within teams enhances chances of innovation and implementation of results. That is as much a matter of team members' individual approach to communication as of mechanisms and policies installed in teams that support them with achieving their best.
This workshop will give you brief insight into how teamwork can drive innovation and what you can do to understand yourself and others better in order to enhance collaborations.
About the speaker
Margherita Kramer, Business Developer at AIT, is responsible for industrial collaborations and strategic development of market relevant processes and services within the Centre for Technology Experience. Coming from a multi-disciplinary, international background (engineering, business administrations, arts), she has a high level of understanding for different industries and markets as well as for individual, company-specific challenges. Margherita has several years of experience in multi-stakeholder project management, strategies, innovations and communications, as well as in the fast paced, market driven startup world, where she continues to mentor young ventures in the process of building business models and market diversification. With her vast background, she enjoys taking a look at the business and innovation aspects of a startup, but equally at the human side of transitioning into the volatile startup-life, team dynamics, leadership, and the simple topic of work-life balance. Besides, the FEMtech Expert for innovation management frequently participates as a jury member for innovation and startup competitions, speaks at conferences, and writes bestselling fantasy fiction for young adult readers.

About the Engines of Innovation Series
The Engines of Innovation Series organized by the TU Wien Innovation Incubation Center (i²c) is a format that offers workshops to scientists who are seeking to broaden their horizons in the field of innovation and healthy high performance. These workshops are free of charge to scientists from all faculties and institutes of TU Wien. Registration required.
