About this Event
The annual Spring dinner of the Environmental Science and Sustainability Programs in the Creighton University College of Arts and Sciences, with special recognition of the graduating seniors in both programs.
Guest Speaker this year is Andrea Bascha, PhD, whose presentation is titled, "Advancing landscape diversification: Practical lessons from the Corn Belt."
Dr. Basche is Associate Professor in the Dept. of Agronomy and Horticulture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
She is an agriculture scientist with interdisciplinary experience in policy, water resources, and climate for environmental sustainability. Expertise in project management, science communication, and computer analysis including crops modeling, hydrology modeling, and data mining.
She received her Ph.D. in 2015 from Iowa State University in agronomy and sustainable agriculture.
