About this Event
Join Andrew Presland at Whitefriars School for a dive into the history of entrepreneurs and philanthropists in Rushden who have helped shaped the town as it is today. Discover the impact of generosity and compassion in the Rushden community.
The meeting will also include a talk by Kathrina Perry of the University of Northampton, drawing on her research findings on Women’s Philanthropy in the Northamptonshire Boot and Shoe Industry, focusing on 1870–1950.
