About this Event
From Referral to Reality: Food Access in Kent County
Join us for a dynamic and collaborative conversation about food access in Kent County—and, importantly, where gaps continue to exist. As many of us are experiencing in our day-to-day work, access to affordable, nutritious food remains a significant challenge for individuals and families across our community. This meeting is an opportunity to come together, share what is available, and build a more connected, informed approach to addressing these barriers.
Featured speakers and community partners include:
- Feeding America
- Meals on Wheels
- Neighborhood Food Circle Network
- Baxter Community Center
- MDHHS
This session is ideal for service providers, advocates, community leaders, and anyone committed to advancing food equity. Whether you’re deeply embedded in this work or newly exploring ways to get involved, your perspective is valuable.
Knowledge is power—and when we understand what resources exist and how to navigate them effectively, we can reduce barriers, streamline connections, and better support those we serve.
Come ready to engage, share, and connect. Please bring business cards and resource materials for in-person networking time. We’re excited to learn alongside you and continue building a stronger, more food-secure community together.
We want this meeting to be accessible to everyone. If you require any accommodations to participate, please share your needs in the form here.
