About this Event
Support Edventure's Enterprising Women cohort as they bring their business ideas to life. They will showcase their achievements through mini-stalls, presentations and discussion. This event is for anyone who wants to support local people and business. Everyone's welcome!
Our Enterprising Women will share how their ideas grew, the progress they've made, and their next steps to turn them into a reality.
For 20 weeks, a group of women have been on Edventure's 'Enterprising Women' course. We helped them gain momentum with their idea and feel confident doing so. They learned by doing things. They supported each other. We covered topics like business planning, funding, marketing, support, and organisation. Now they want to share their ideas with you. Come along and support them!
We want to create a supportive community for our enterprising women and their ideas. Please join us if you:
- Want to help local businesses grow.
- Want to support people to build meaningful livelihoods in Frome.
- Want to support women starting their own businesses/initiatives.
- Want to know what Edventure is doing
At the event, they will talk about their progress and what they plan to do. Some of their projects include:
- Making a new hot sauce business, using foraged ingredients
- Making a new magazine about artists in Somerset
- Opening a Ukrainian cafe
