Entanglements pairs contemporary circus with scientific research to tell the story of ocean deoxygenation and its impacts on local marine ecosystems.
In this exploration of ecological grief, resilience, and hope, audiences will be immersed in the stunningly diverse Barkley Canyon off the coast of Vancouver Island. Artists from Island Circus Space will bring to life the incredible characters who inhabit this ecosystem, guided by experts who understand these creatures and the threats they face under climate change.
Tickets: $30 + gst
Shows: Saturday at 2:30 and 6:00 pm • Sunday at 2:30 pm
Doors: 30 minutes before show time
Runtime: 60 minutes
Location: Island Circus Space Esquimalt, 903 Devonshire Road
All profits from the show will be donated to PEPAKEṈ HÁUTW̱ Foundation and W̱SÁNEĆ Lands Trust Society.
